Vestine

Mukanoheri Vestine is our 4th Sponsored child, 3rd correspondence child. She will be 17 years old December and is in project RW534. It appears that she goes by the name Vestine. If anyone has insight on how naming works in Rwanda I'd like to understand if I'm correct.

Vestine is responsible for carrying water, cleaning, and helping in the kitchen. Her mother is sometimes employed as a farmer. Her father is alive but not a part of her life.

She lives in Rwahi, Rwanda. The average monthly income for her town is $8 a month. I can't find any information on Rwahi. I'd love information if there is anyone out there in Internet land who has researched Rwahi or Rwanda. (Just comment on one of the posts on my wall and I'll contact you.)
