"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12

Nanese

Nanese is our second sponsored child, first correspondence child. She will turn 20 years old on September 2nd (2010) and will age out of the Compassion project that she attends. Nanese lives with both her father, mother, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. Nanese lives on the plains of Plaisance, Haiti. Typical homes are constructed of wood floors, block walls, and tin roofs. She is responsible for carrying water, making beds, and cleaning. She is 9th grade.

Through Nanese's letters I have learned that she is a very devout Christian! She loves Jesus Christ & I have a lot that I can learn from her. Nanese has written about food in every letter to us. She writes about mango, avocados, and corn. She always asks if we have 'a lot' of food in our Country. Nanese also has Sheep. A momma sheep & two babies that she loves.
